Anybody can share their experience with entering back to the country with AP after international travels?
Should I expect to get some BS from customs officers?
Should I carry with all the notice of action USCIS sent me?
    Thanks

Only one copy received and the customs officer kept during the first entrance , the advanced parole was good for multiple entrances within a year.

We got stopped coming in with AP. The US Citizen has global entry so went through the self serve lane and the spouse went through the non-US Passport lane and got flagged. We only brought our AP car and were put in a waiting room for about 90 minutes. The officer called only the non-US spouse, talked to them for a few minutes, and told us to go through together next time. Stamped the passport with a AP stamp and that was it

        Are you flying?

All should go as normal until you check in for your flight back to the US.
The airline will have to confirm that you are permitted entry to the US, if there is a computer check-in kiosk, don't even bother, AP won't be in the system, go straight to a person.
I only took my combo card with me, which technically is the "document".
My airline wasn't familiar with the physical card and expected to see a letter.
It took about 30 minutes, but they eventually made contact with an airline supervisor confirming the card is an AP document, then to US government confirming MY card was valid.

Side note, we always have an inconvenience at immigration, the crowd handlers can never agree whether we need to separate and go through as a citizen and a foreigner in the appropriate lines, or go through together, but then in which line? When we split, the officers tell us we should go through the line together since we traveled together. When we go through the foreigners line, USC wife is told she should have gone through the citizen line. Haven't yet tried to go through the citizen line as a foreigner traveling with a citizen.

On arrival in the US (LAX), the immigration staff directed us to the foreigner line and the kiosks, even after telling them that AP won't be an option on the automated system.
They then got mad that we were in the foreigner line as directed, and told us we should have been in the citizen line, and should from now on.
My USC wife had to do the kiosk since we were there, and we had to queue up in the foreigners line.
USC wife passed the immigration desk and I was asked to wait off to the side for an officer to process my AP entry.
We arranged to meet up at baggage claim (worked out well).
5 minutes later I was collected and taken to the interview room.
On the walk, the officer was very friendly, asked how long my AOS had taken (12 months), he said 12 months is ridiculous, system should be faster.
I was checked in and asked to take a seat.
        Maybe 5 other people waiting.
Other people were getting called up for interviews, presumably with other visa issues.
After 10 minutes, my name was called and I was told I was admitted, no questions, just a system check.
Passport got a "Paroled" entry stamp.

Despite the reputation of LAX, my first arrival on AP was all sorted out and I made my connection with only 2 hours between flights.

I had no problem entering into New York, it was very straight forward. The only issue I encountered was the staff in London Heathrow didn;t know what Advance Parole was, it took wuite some time to get checked in. Leave some time for that, in case the staff in your departure airport dont know how to enter it

Other than that, safe and happy travels
