  • Please help. Passport/green card, different names!

    Hey guys!

Soon Im traveling back to my home country and vising my family for a month.

I have a conditional green card. Now Im wondering will I have a problem with traveling since I have gc/passport last name difference ( I kept my last name just added spouses). Passport has maiden name and gc has maiden name plus married name combo.

Can anybody who has traveled with this situation share their experience while traveling on a connecting flight from European Union country or Turkey (most likely this will be my connecting city - Istanbul)?

I would change my passport in my native country next year since I want to spend time with my family and not run around and deal with paperwork this year.

    Thank you so much guys.

P.S. I have posted this thread on another part of forum, and I have got 0 replies so I want to try again. Thank you!

You should not have an issue. You just need to bring documents that link your passport to your green card. You just need to be able to prove that you are you. So I would even have a certified copy of your marriage certificate with you
