Does anyone know when i will receive an actual mail for the scheduled interview date?
My case was filed in Dec 2016, in Houston Texas.

Congrats! It comes from Missouri. It all depends on USPS. There is no set time to get it. You could probably call next week and ask for your interview appointment date and time.

I am not sure of all the inner workings behind that interview cancellation. I think it may have to do with our recent change of address. We moved to the Raleigh, NC area a couple of months ago, but returned recently. It's possible that the case was under the Raleigh-Durham, NC jurisdiction long enough to be scheduled for interview. If you look at my signature you will see that the case was updated on 04-23-18 and 08-09-18 as "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".

We have not decided whether to reach out to our Senator and have USCIS held accountable for the interview cancellation. There may be a good chance of succeeding if we ask for consideration of extenuating circumstances BUT we may just wait out the process. Our 2nd year marriage anniversary is Aug 2019. The second "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" probably reset our place in the line.

ROC is a long process and we will avoid it if we can.

I received my interview notice 5 days after i received a case status update.
