Which website is correct???

We received an email the other day that stated that there was an update on our case. The link sent with the email was to the DHS website. We checked it and it stated that our EAD card was being produced, will be mailed to us and can take up to 120 days to receive. I then checked the egov website and there is no update on the I765 and no mention of an EAD card in production.

Are the sites in sync with each other or do i just go with whichever website has an update

Yup, the sites don?t always update simultaneously. My dhs website shows ?on 08-09-18we canceled your interview?, and the Egov site shows
?on 08-08-18 we are ready to schedule your form I-485 interview? (that?s the second time we got that update. The first time was on 04-23-18.
