  • I need my I-485

I know we all are desperately awaiting approval!.

    I am a parent of a USC

I submitted my complete package back in Feb 2018

on August 14th they said they were making my EAD card

Today August 16th they said they have mailed my EAD Card

Does Anyone have an idea when I will get my interview for my I-485 or will they will just send me the Green Card??

    Hi,

I realize that every case is different. When I petitioned for my mother in 2005, she got her EAD like clockwork within 90 days and a week or so into the 5th month, the 10 -year Green Card arrived in the mail. There was no interview. It was waived unbeknownst to us.
We submitted a strong affidavit of support, and I think that helped a lot. She had overstayed her B1/B2 visa by 4 years or so. That was not even an issue. And of course, she had never had any run ins with the law either.

I?d suggest signing up for informed delivery. Here?s the link. https://informeddelivery.usps.com
Turn on notifications and add your cell phone number to the account. You will be able to see daily screenshots of your letter-sized mail.
As soon as the USPS tracking number is available, you will get a text message that includes the tracking number.

It?s best to sign up for an account on these two sites

You?ll get better idea of where your case stands if you have both. Neither one provides the same updates. Mine show different updates but you get a more complete picture if you piece together the updates from both sites.

I would also reach out to your Senator and ask them to inquire if your case will require an interview, and that you feel it merits to be waived.
