  • Adjustment of status

    Hello everyone
This is my first time posting in this forum. I have a question, I am adjusting my status based on same sex marriage. I checked my online status and it reads " on August 2, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your form I-485, application to register permanent resident or adjust status... we will mail you an interview notice". However, I have not gotten my interview notice yet, is this normal? or how long after online status changes take to get the notice letter?
    Thank you

Maybe 1 months or so. YOU can always call them to ask!

I got a case status update on Aug 6 that they have scheduled an interview. I received my interview notice on Aug. 11th. They mailed it Aug. 8th. Where is your field office? When is your PD?

All you can do for now is call the USCIS hotline and ask for a level 2 officer. They can give you the date of your interview and you can ask them about you have not received your notice yet.

Yep, call and ask for Level 2 officer. They should be able to see your interview date. Usually mails come within 2-4 days of status change and interviews are scheduled about a month from then but it is not always the case.
