      Hi KM24 and other readers!

We?re also on the same boat, no bio letter yet, our PD is 08/24/18, with NOAs received on 09/09/18.
Yesterday I spoke to our lawyer that suggested to wait till the 60th day - to then inquire with USCIS if we still haven?t received the bio appointment by then.
Filing from Miami, FL. Case is at National Benefits Center (?MSC?).

I?ve noticed a trend every year during August though, there are effectively delays in the bio appointments, perhaps a lot of people go on vacation during this period, so they?re slower.

      Btw:
      - On 08/23/2018 sent application package to Chicago Lockbox, filing from Miami, FL.
      - PD 08/24/2018
      - Bio fees received on the 30th of August (online tracking)
      - 4 NOAs on 09/09/2018. Tracking ?MSC?, so national benefits center.
      - courtesy letter (missing medicals) on 09/20/2018

Thank you for sharing! We pretty much have the same timeline, only that I?m filing from California. I guess if you?re attorney isn?t concerned yet, it can?t be too bad. 😐 I hope we all receive it soon!

No problem, thank you for sharing too! You guys/girls have been more reassuring in this situation than anyone or anything else!

The lawyer wasn?t worried at all, it?ll be about waiting the 60 day mark to then inquire directly to USCIS, which can happen, but she said it might come in the mail on the 57th or 58th day.
I also asked 2 other lawyers that are handling different cases for friends (1 family and 1 employment based), one actually from LA, and they all said it can be normal within 60 days, not usual, but still within a non-concerning timeframe.

Again, I looked up multiple years back, and it seems like it happens a lot during summer vacations. Uscis staff takes vacations seriously apparently lol.
Scheduling the appointment depends both on the NBC and the local field office that has to accomodate us, so if there?s less staff in both, imagine how many less cases they can process. Especially in areas like South Florida and California that have a high application number.
This is my speculation at least, there could be something else going on, you never know.. though I doubt it.

I wouldn?t worry, although it?s very frustrating! Let?s keep updating our progress and when we get that bio appointment letter in the mail box.
Could be today or next week!

Sorry you're experiencing this! My husband had to use his companies lawyer when filing his H1B extension. The process was a complete nightmare- because as you said they were more concerned with the money than the timeline. We later found out that the lawyer received two RFE's and took months to respond to both, causing a significant delay in the process. Based on that experience I would advise everyone to really question when lawyers are telling you things are "normal" if they don't seem right!

I called USCIS and spoke w/ a level 2 officer. She said that i just have to wait. It could take 30,60,90 days for them to schedule for a biometric appt.

                              So lets keep praying!

After the 60th day, I?d still send the inquiry to USCIS. You can do it online on their site and put ?appointment? as notice type in the form:
