To expedite the EAD - would i have to prove financial hardship? Or is the job offer enough? With the original application i sent in all the information about how much my husband makes, what?s technically enough for him to sponsor me, but money is actually getting pretty tight over here... Just not sure how I would prove that?

Your lawyer does not get any $$$ for filing a request to expedite. In fact, only you can call and request to expedite. They won't talk to anyone else. If your lawyer were to call, they would still want to speak to you. Just cut the middle person and call to expedite. That will get the ball rolling. You won't have to provide the evidence right away anyhow.

It?s really simple to do. You call the USCIS line, ask the rep to put in an expedite request. They will give you a case ID. You?ll receive an email the next day OR letter in the mail (around 7 days) to fax proof (job offer letter). After you fax it, just wait. You can also contact your Congressman/Senator.Originally posted by UScitizenFilingforspouse View PostSeattle2993 was in a similar situation. They had not gotten the biometrics letter yet, but decided to file a request to expedite the EAD anyway. Guess what? It seems like that triggered the system to generate and mail the biometrics letter.

so more questions, How do I check the status as she did provide a Reciept number? also someone asked before but do we need a actual job offer or just prove financial hardship like a late rent and bill notices?
thanks everyone for all your insight, you guys don't know how much help you all been.

Question about joint health insurance
Hi everyone,
I am an august filler and I got my biometrics done. As of September 4th, the status is ready to be schedule for the interview. And now while reading posts here on the forum in order to prepare for the interview, I actually learn a lot and realized that the one who helped me to fill paper work and submitted form did not submit any proof for our relationship but just marriage certificate. So now I am kinda worried and I am not sure what paper should I prepare.
Also, I recently encountered another issue while preparing that I saw from posts that joint health insurance is that I am currently still an f1 student, and I am bounded to buy school health insurance. Yesterday I went to see my international advisor to ask whether my husband can add me to his health insurance and I can use that instead of school insurance, but he told me that if I don't pay for health insurance through school system, I will be removed from my f1 status. But I can still take class as an PR pending to wait for interview. So, I don't know what should I do? pay through school system and keep my f1 status, or try to have joint health insurance with my husband and ditch my f1 status? Is it ok if I don't have joint health insurance with my husband.
My situation is a bit hard for me as our relationship only around 1 year since the day I met him till now. And I just moved in with him, but the house we live is under my parents in law name and all bills such as gas, electricity, water are paid by my parents in law not by my husband or me. So what else could I do to add more evidence in this case? I have joint bank checking account, but I don't have credit. And for my wedding, we did not really do a big wedding or any, we just went to a service to get confidential marriage. Back then I did not think much about taking photos, so we only have like 1 or 2 with us there since we both don't really like being photographed. And we plan to have an actually bigger celebration in my home country because that's what my parents wish to.
I am very thankful for all of your help.Field Office at San Bernadino

My husband and I do not currently have joint health insurance either. It does not make sense financially for us to combine our insurance right now. I personally do not think that this is a big deal at all. I have seen on this forum that just having proof that you cannot join at this time is still valid evidence, so make sure to print and keep all emails with your international adviser. I would also make sure that you are both receiving mail at your current address and you keep proof of that. Having a joint bank account seems to be more important than joint health insurance anyways, so it's great that you have that. Also, you should be including photos throughout your relationship together not just wedding photos. Try to include photos where you are with friends and family not just the two of you! My personal opinion is that everyone's situation/relationship is different, so you cannot psych yourself out by reading what evidence other people are including. That being said, you do need to figure out every possible thing you can include that is relevant to proving your relationship.I-485/ I-130 Mailed: July 30, 2018
