    • Also wanted to share my biometrics experiences real quick I received the appointment letter finally after 60 days last Friday, scheduled for Nov 6th. I walked in this morning and they didn?t look at the appointment date at all. Waited about 30 min (got there a little past 8) got my picture and fingerprints taken and that was it. Went super smooth overall! My field office is Santa Ana, CA and the Application Support Center I went to for the fingerprints was in Buena Park, CA.

My field Office was in Dallas, Texas and I checked using the case online status and also logged in with my username and password on MyUSCIS. Both had status changed on November 1st (3 days after I walked in for my early biometrics). I also used an immigration Lawyer so I was sure I wouldn't get any RFE's.

                      • Still waiting

                        Hi everyone,

No updates on my end either since my "Fingerprint Review was Completed" on September 25th. It seems that most folks get an update to be scheduled for an interview a week or so after, but that is not the case with my application. I'm also noticing that several people are getting RFEs and I hope that this doesn't become the norm. I really hope that we get our EAD approved in the next few weeks but with the holidays coming up and election day today I can't be sure.

Just curious- did your account show "request for initial evidence" before you received your I-693 courtesy letter? Mine did, but we never received anything other than the courtesy letter. Now I'm getting nervous that we may have missed the actual RFIE... Our account does show "ready to be scheduled for an interview" now, so I'm assuming it wouldn't move to that status if we had an outstanding request for evidence. Good luck with your EAD!

No, my account never showed "RFE" for the I693, it just arrived in the mail. I think if your account moved to interview scheduling stage you should be fine
