Hi everyone,

No updates on my end either since my "Fingerprint Review was Completed" on September 25th. It seems that most folks get an update to be scheduled for an interview a week or so after, but that is not the case with my application. I'm also noticing that several people are getting RFEs and I hope that this doesn't become the norm. I really hope that we get our EAD approved in the next few weeks but with the holidays coming up and election day today I can't be sure.

See my timeline below:

8/13/2018: Mailed I-130, I-765, I-485 to Chicago (adjusting from J1, married to USC, based in NYC)
8/16/2018: PD
8/22/2018: Fingerprint Fee Received
9/10/2018: Received courtesy I-693 courtesy letter.
9/14/2018: Received Biometrics notice
9/24/2018: Biometrics appointment date
9/25/2018: Fingerprint Review was Completed

Same here..
my PD is 8/9/2018 and did my biometrics on the 26th of Aug and again on 24th of Sep (I forgot to sign my i-765 form- which was the reason for going twice for biometrics) but after the Fingerprint Review was Completed on the 26th nothing has changed.. I?m just hoping we get our EAD card soon, I really need to work. Btw, I was a J-1 as well.

Finally received Finger print notice after 60days

Hi all, Finally received Finger print notice. Here is my details
a) EB3 PD date - July 13, 2008
b) I-485 filling date -Aug 27,2018
c) I-485 receipt date - Aug 30 2018
d) Bio-metric date - Notice sent 10/26/2018 , Scheduled Nov 15th, Went Walk-in on nov 5th , Spouse FP notice Sent out 10/19 Schedule on Nov 7th , did Walk-in Early.

Everyone's case is different. I've seen some receive the courtesy letter after the biometrics, whereas others like mine got it after the 4 NOAs. I wouldn't worry as I don't think it impacts the timeline

That?s great congrats! Do you have any update on the EAD? Still nothing for me but I heard how unreliable the online status update is so trying not to worry about it!

No news on the EAD yet. Did you try to get your DL? I went to the SF Dmv and had no problem!

As of today 11/7 no updates

No news on the EAD yet. Did you try to get your DL? I went to the SF Dmv and had no problem!
I think at this point, we have to try not to worry so much about it bc its a matter of time/waiting now! 🙏🏼 hoping u get an update soon!

What did you use to get a drivers license. I am thinking of getting one too before my EAD comes in but I wasn't sure what to sure them at the DMV's office

I think my case was a bit difference as I had an expired drivers license & EAD (my Daca expired a month after i applied for AOS) so i brought in my expired EAD w/ my I-797C notice. They gave me a DL for 6 mos at the San Francisco dmv. The first time which was a month and a half ago, i went to a different dmv and they only gave me a temp DL for 2 mos. So i would say try, it doesnt hurt. Now, CA laws are different, i hear its much easier to get a DL here.
