I've applied on August 28. I've received RFEI on Sep. 21 and replied on October 10th. They received on October 11. After a long wait yesterday my status changed to Case is ready to schedule an interview. Today it has changed to interview was scheduled. But haven't received a courtesy letter for a doctor control.

Issues\RFE
Hey everyone okay a littke update on my case
About a week ago we recieved a RFE for what my lawyer is saying is my 2017 taxes which we did not submit with the originall application as my hubby does not have a Itin or a ss. Now we were hoping that his ead would be approved and him getting a ss in time for me to amend the taxes and turn them in. She stated to get her the amended return by jan 31st.
Now i need some advise from u guys because this is the 1st time im hearing about this Itin and me and my lawyer are kinda at odds. We also expedited his ead on oct 29th and as of today they have yet to make a decision. The irs website stated the itin could take between 8 and 10 weeks to be issued. Do you guys think it will be another 8 to 10 weeks before the ss card is issued? Whats are some options here? Whats you guys take on this? Anythibg else we can do to kick start that ead? And get the ss? Everyobe keeps saying a rfe doesnt hold up the ead application but I'm loosing hope here.
Pd is 8/20
expedited EAD req on 10/29

PD: 8/3
My EAD status changed to "Card is being produced" this morning around 8:00 am. 12/18
My lawyer submitted an expedite request, but it wasn't approved. So I prefer to believe this is based on normal processing time and USCIS is really working on August cases.
I wish you all get yours soon!

Just a question, when you (your lawyer) asked to expedite your EAD, what did you send/fax to USCIS? just a job offer? that was not enough?
On your timeline, you wrote: Notice: 12-04-18 An additional letter from the company is needed for EAD
It means a job offer wasn't enough? What else they wanted/needed?NYC, C(9), Same Sex | NOT USING A LAWYER

The expedite request was submitted under financial loss for the business. The request is submitted with AOS package( not through the call). The request took 3 months to be recognized. I think the supporting letter might be lost? so the notice states that cannot be approved unless additional evidence are provided. I have forwarded it to my lawyer to handle, but no updates or response.
I still don't have a copy of my AOS package, and don't know what exactly in the letter. But it should have company logo in the header, the body explains the business needs for me to return to the position, and signed by someone from the company (either manager or HR).
I won't recommend anyone to expedite through submitting it with the package. The fastest way is to call and fax/ email the doc.
If you use a job offer to expedite, it will be under financial loss for personal, you need a job offer, depleting bank account, and a cover letter to explain your situation.
For example, listed and offer evidence for all your living expenses (rent, bills, etc.), and show one pay check can not cover it all. You need to accept the new position to get additional income to cover household expenses. - It may not be required, but it would be good to provide it if it is easy to put information together.
Search this forum, there are a lot successful expedite experience shared here.Last edited by RIMB; 12-18-2018, 01:21 PM.C(9) Adjustment of status from F1
