Now, if you are applying for a job that involves driving and they need to see a driver's license, that is different.

I just checked my receipt numbers, there is still no update on EAD and AP, but my form I 485 said that 'Interview was scheduled'.
Is that normal that the interview is scheduled before EAD and AP. I checked the field office processing time is about 7 months to 19 months, but I just filed at August 2nd.
Also, i am preparing paper for the interview, anyone knows how to show conversation through ******** messenger? Should I screenshot messages, or copy to text and print?
Thanks a lot for your suggestions and help.Field Office at San Bernadino

Biometric appointment at August 28th
Finger print review completed at August 29th
Form I-485 is ready to schedule for interview at September 4th

How to download/export ******** messages will likely depend on a few things. Are you using your phone? Are you using the app? Are you using ******** on your computer? Google is your best friend. Just google "how to export ******** messenger messages". Done.

I know how to get messages out of FB messenger. But my question is that should it be in text form or should it be screenshot form? Which one makes it more reliable? As if i export and download text out of FB messenger, things can be modified, so I wonder if that still be an ok source.Field Office at San Bernadino

I believe some folks may have explained how they exported their messages on the resources listed on this thread, but I am not sure which one. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...124#post591124
You can also use the search function. I am not sure how successful that will be, though.Last edited by UScitizenFilingforspouse; 12-28-2018, 05:43 PM.

Screenshots are very time consuming. Beyond that, google and try different things. Of course, others are welcome to contribute. I am just sharing my experience.

When you have a moment, please add your timeline to your signature. It just makes it easier for anyone who is willing to help you. In fact, it increases the chances that someone will want to answer your question, they will not have to click through all your posts to figure out information they need to answer your question.
There are several types of advance parole. The one you already applied for, will still take at least 10 days to reach you, if you place a request to expedite.
If you need it immediately, you may request Emergency Advance Parole at any USCIS Field Office. You will fill out the same I-131 application, but you will specify your travel dates. To be clear, they will only issue it for this trip. They will want to see proof of your emergency and travel arrangements (flights purchased/hotel, etc). You do have to pay a fee of $575 dollars for it. It is expensive BUT they will issue it to you on the same day. You may have to wait, and do biometrics right there, but they will issue it right away.
USCIS recommends that you make an Infopass appointment. HOWEVER, it is not required. That's what this link below says. You can show up and tell them you have an emergency and need to travel. Show the application, evidence and money for the fee. If your field office does not accept walk-ins, then you would need to call the main USCIS number, tell them that you have an emergency and need to make an appointment at the Field Office. If the level 1 officer you talk to is not helpful, then ask for a level 2. They are supposed to just transfer you to a level 2 if you request it.
