August 2018 Filers

My EAD was delivered home on February the 1St. i"m an August 27 2018 filer; no expedite and thru USC marriage C9 , today i went to my local Social Security office to check on the delay of my Social and to my surprise i was still not in the system , even tho i was supposed to be triggered as soon as the EAD was approved . so i filed for the production of an SS , it was a good idea to check for it and not just wait for it in the mail . documents required to file are EAD card , Ead card approval notice , Birth Certificate (parents names are important and on the certificate) passport in a lesser degree . took me 30 minutes in and out . 2 weeks is the waiting time from this point but expect it in 5 days per ss officer . so heads up and be ahead of the game friends.

Some people get the SS card at the same time as EAD, others report around a week after EAD delivery.

Please keep us posted if you get more than 1 SS card.

It took exactly 1 week for my husband to received the SS Card. The EAD arrived Monday January 28th and SS Card on Monday Feb 4th. He wanted to go to the SSA Office but I read somewhere that they will say that it wasn't on the system, so I told him to wait one week. Luckily the SS arrived exactly one week after the EAD.

So I think you will received first the one that they send you and then the one that you request in the SSA Office.

Got date March 15th

I got a notice today saying it has been scheduled for March 15th. Few things from the notice to bring it says:
I don't have birth certificate from my country, because born at home/lost document now prlly...do have a citizenship with my birthdate also high school transcript from hometown with birthdate, can I translate that submit them as evidence?

I don't have another medical seal envelope, I submitted it with my other documents. I am worried they might ask me, and have nothing to submit.

Interview scheduled; Case receipt for I-485 updated to:
On January 31, 2019, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status,

My spouse I-131 have no update so far.
Could someone please provide some guidance for prepping table of contents/actual documents to bring to the interview?
