Hello! we filed my husband's AOS application last August. PD date 8/27/18. We just had his interview this morning, the officer did not tell us if he was approved or not, he just said he will review everything and will send an RFE if he needs anything. is this good news for us?

Hi all,
Long time lurker, but first time post. Appreciate all of the support people offer each other on here. I know there are quite a few people interested in employment-based I-485 processing timelines so here's mine. Big mistake was not paying for I-140 premium processing when filing con-currently. If you have the opportunity to do so, I highly encourage you to do it as it'll speed up the process by at least 5-6 months.
Category: EB-2
Filings: Con-current I-485, I-140, I-765, I-131
Office: Nebraska Service Center
Local center: Chicago
USCIS Receipt notices: 8/7/2018
Biometrics notice: 8/24/2018
I-765 and I-131 approved: 8/28/2018
Biometrics completed: 9/6/2018
Fingerprint review complete: 9/7/2018
I-140 upgraded to premium processing: 1/2/2019
I-140 approved: 1/9/2019
I-485 case transferred to my local office: 2/21/2019
I-485 case transferred and a new office has jurisdiction: 2/23/2019 (not sure why the 2 transfers?)
Not overly optimistic looking at updated USCIS published timelines. Currently waiting for the interview to be scheduled. I'll almost certainly need to complete the medical once again before the interview (expires in June 2019 - 1 year). Optimistically I'm hopeful for a summer 2020 completion but timelines continue to slide so who knows. Best of luck to everyone, hang in the

Hello Filers,
I have been a silent reader for most part of the filing process and have posted few times and have received instant feedback/response from fellow members and I would like to thank them for that.
In my timeline you will find that my interview was scheduled. My inital interview was scheduled for Feb 20th 2019 but due to a family emergency I had to request a reschedule for the interview and get an emergency advance parole and travel outside of the country. But before I left for the trip I got approval letters for both the I-765 and I-131 as well as the EAD card in hand. So, everything went pretty smoothly with the travel and getting back in the U.S.
When I got back I received my reschedule interview notice. My interview was scheduled for April 1st 2019. We got the approval on the spot and my approval letters are in the mail.
I would like to thank all fellow filers for sharing their experiences and for making this process easier with all the information provided.

We just checked the case status online and it says our interview has been scheduled!!! We are in the Los Angeles office, so we're very surprised because current estimates are 12months on low end. Hopefully it means things are starting to move faster and it's not a glitch Now to get our packet together...Last edited by Melleh; 04-07-2019, 03:53 PM.Same sex couple in Los Angeles, CA

Hi, my interview was scheduled last week but I haven't received the letter in the mail. Would you mind posting when you get your letter? To know how long is it normal to take? I called customer service but they don't give any information if a month hasn't pass by. Thanks!

FILING OFFICE LOS ANGELES
I haven't been on the forum for a month or so since i've got my EAD. I went right away to my home country for almost a month and successfully returned back. The worst part of crossing the border (in LA) was waiting 2 hours in the line... but after all i wasn't even asked a single question, even though I was extremely nervous at the second inspection room. Put a "paroled" stamp in my passport and wished me a nice day.
So it was couple days ago. And today i've got a message that my interview was scheduled!!! That was pretty unexpected since i only expected this to happen around Fall. But i am super excited and gonna start preparing my documents for the interview!AOS through Marriage from B1/B2 Visa overstay

OMG! I got a notification from my app that interview is scheduled. I hope its not a glitch. That was fast considering its normally 12-18 Months wait here. Can you please update me when you get your letter? My husband will be out of the country end of June so hopefully it will be scheduled before then.
