I applied under the EB1 category. My I-485 was transferred to NBC, Lee Summit, MO on March 9th and combo card was received on Mar 20th. I am still waiting for my green card interview. Moreover, my current job is expiring in a two weeks and I will be without a job (don't know until when). I was wondering what impact will it have on my green card interview if I suddenly get an interview from USCIS? Anybody having any experience or insight on that. Moreover, I want to take some time off and visit my home country before I take up my next assignment. Will the lack of job have any impact on my green card interview?
