I didn't get update like "ready to schedule interview"....frustrated!!!

I heard several people get updated recently but I didn't get anything

Is it a necessary step before interview? My 485 never changed since I submitted it....

And it has been 8 months...

I had the same, months passed. I called and got told by Level 2 that I'm scheduled for over 3 months. The website updated randomly weeks later, and the automated phone system update on my receipt is still at RFE

Unfortunatley there is no hard and fast anwers we can be confident about, but take some support from people here. I've slowly learned to let go and wait, and when the time comes for an action, research here and give it your best

Call and ask to speak to a Level 2 officer or try and get an Infopass appointment, neither have guarantees of ***

Don't even worry about it. My status just updated two days ago "Your I-485 was scheduled for the interview" but that's after 10 months of no updates at all.

LOOK TO YOUR MAIL.

File an SR online and say you have received your notice for an interview yet. they should respond if you are at the ready stage or not.

Did you get the interview notice in mail then? Or you already done with it?

No sorry, I'm to be scheduled, New York City takes forever

It was frustrating not knowing if the RFE had been satisfied for 3 months, so I can rest now the admin side has been passed on
