My I-485 marriage Interview Was Cancelled today, even though I got online update a few days ago that my I-485 is scheduled for an interview and we will mail you the notice, but did not receive it yet.

"we cancelled your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC YYYY YYYY XX, and mailed you a cancellation notice. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you. Please follow any instructions in the notice. please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice."

Are they going to send me the scheduled notice to my mail or not?
How long should I expect to be rescheduled ot tell what is going on?

Anyone have or had the same experience?

I dont have the same but they keep telling me my case is in line for the interview. Did you call them to ask about it?

I did they the women told me I don't know why!

Cancellations of interviews have been happening recently with some users.

Hmm interesting. I just made a post about my interview being scheduled yet tier2 tells me no interview has been scheduled and I have to wait another 90 days in queue. Wonder if I will get this cancellation notice as well.

This is really frustrating if they did not even schedule an interview for me that would be way better. I got scheduled one day after you did, in Aug 27 2018.

Hopefully, they will not do the same thing for you.

UPDATE: Ok guys just today (just checked) they updated my status online to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"

For people who are going through the same experience or will, I will give details for my own case:

Aug 27 2018: Interview was scheduled and we will me mail you the notice.

Aug 30 2018: Interview was cancelled and we will mail you the notice.

Aug 31 2018: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview.


Notice: I spent 10 months checking the website and I've never had updates, but now I am getting many

11/05 - We ordered your new card
11/05 - We cancelled the scheduled interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
11/06 - Case Was Approved

In most cases this is a good status.
