Hi guys,
my timeline is in the signature.
On June 26 i got this
We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, for an interview
Last monday i changed my address as i'm moving as of Sept 4.
2 hours later i get the following notification:
On August 27, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxx. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address
I havent gotten a letter yet, nor have they processed my changed of address yet. So getting a bit worried i called today to USCIS.
First tier, i see interview is scheduled. I will pass you one to tier2 so they can give you the date in case you dont get the letter.
Second tier calls back, I explain everything. He tells me no interview is scheduled for me, that i'm in line to be get a date but I have to give it 90 days.
I asked him why i get a notification of it being scheduled, to me that means there's a date/time/place.
He gave me lip that i was talking to the expert and if I wanted help or not.
I'm confused now and worried i'm going to miss a notice that's been sent out to my soon to be old address. (i've notified usps but who knows if they will forward it)
Anyone had this experience? Am i just missing a stage in the process that comes after the message that i got?
I should add that the egov page shows this status (incl emails and texts). The myuscis page is still at we are ready to schedule..
