I-140 Approved and waiting for the filing of I-485

I got my I-140 approved and my dates are current. I have got all my paper work done along with the I-693. I still don't have this completed for my spouse and she is due this September. I am planning to have her medical exam done after that.

Questions:
1. Can I file my 1-485 now and submit the same for my family after the medical exam is completed for my spouse.
2. Or should I wait and file all of our paper work at once after the completion of the medical exam for my spouse.
