The interview was really pleasant. We had a table of contents (check the sticky note in the adjustment of status forum to have a idea how to make one) that really helps a lot, for us and for the officer since we handed one copy of it to him. First he asked us for the originals (Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, etc) them he was following the so helpful table of contents, just asking us for documents. Them, he asked us how did we meet, how is the marriage going, what's the things I like about my wife, and the things I don't like, that same question to her, also why I fall in love with her, and asked her why she fall in love with me, how was the wedding. And when we moved together.
Them he was confirming with me some basic information in the I485 form (Name, DOB, etc) . Final, some Y/N questions (like 10). Them he said he'll review the evidence we are submitting today but he will recommend the case for approval. At the end, he explained us about how to remove the temporary condition in two years. And them he accompanied us to the door. Very nice guy!!
After 10 mins we left the building I got upgraded on the Case Tracker App: NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED! 😎😎
Every case is different but these are the evidences with submitted when we filed the initial aplication:
Joint bank account statement, joint health insurance, joint electricity bill, joint credit card account, two friends affidavit.
Evidences we submitted today at the interview:
Joint bank account from the last 6 months, joint health insurance, joint life insurance, joint dental insurance, joint disability insurance, two more joint credits cards statements, Joint internet and cable account, Joint cotsco account, joint amazon prime account, Joint 2018 tax return, receipts from gift between us (he said he don't need it). And two albums, one full album with our marriage photos and other one with like 70 pictures with our daily life. He kept for him like 5 pictures.
This forum really helped us a lot in this journey, I want to thank you to all of you!! And good luck people!!

Card in hand!
Hola a todos:
I had my interview March 6th and it went well. I was overprepared - brought several folders full of all kinds of docs, photo album, etc. The officer was very nice, asked for originals (passports, birth certificates, marriage certificate) as well as for tax returns. We had filed taxes together twice before the interview, so he said that was enough evidence for commingling of finances. Also, he asked to give him just 3-4 pictures from the album we had prepared. He did not even open it. He asked a couple questions about the pictures (Who is in the picture other than us? Where were the pictures taken?) and after a bit of chitchat he approved the case. We had been married for slightly over two years and I was on an F-1 (I had come as an exchange student on an J-1 in 2012 and then returned in 2014 on an F-1 to do my MA and PhD). I think that might have helped me.
My timeline is:
May 3 2018 - application received
June 6 2018 - biometrics
September 11 - EAD approved (did not apply for travel permit)
January 21 - Interview scheduled
March 6 - Interview and approval
March 13 - card in the mail
Thank you very much for sharing your experiences! It was hard to do this all by myself without the assistance of a lawyer, but it is possible!
Best,
NJsamesex

Interview approved on the spot!
The officer was a nice lady. She had reviewed our file and I'm under the impression that she had made up her mind on the bona fide of our marriage before conducting the interview. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
We brought two binders of additional evidence. She kept some bank and credit card statements, utilities bills, joint health insurance, our taxes for 2018, boarding passes, landlord letter, a resizing receipt for my engagement ring with our address on it and some photos.
Questions asked to my husband (petitioner): date of birth, occupation, date of marriage, when did we move in together.
Questions asked to me (applicant): date of birth, occupation, if I was studying, how did we meet, when did we have our first date and where did we go, and when did he propose.
She asked us if our families approved of our marriage and if things are going well.
She explained us how to file to remove conditions and said I should expect the green card in 30 days but that I may get it sooner.
Our timeline:
March 12, 2018: PD
January, 2019: original interview date. We rescheduled due to a planned trip overseas.
March 19, 2019: Interview
March 19, 1019: Card is being produced.
