  • I called USCIS and requested a call back

    Hi !

I haven?t gotten an update since April 25, 2018. Update on 04/25/18 says that my case was received. My PD date is April 13 and quite frankly I am becoming concerned. My main concern is that I submitted my medical documents early June , 2018 (I did not submit it with other forms). I am freaking out wondering if that?s delaying my process. I am even more nervous and anxious seeing other people here getting updates before me whose PD is same as mine or even AFTER.

The customer Reps were telling me everything that I can see online myself so I ask to speak with an officer (thanks to USCFFS for all the info you provide here). They automatically schedule a call back which is in 153 minutes. I am nervously waiting for the call back. In your experience, can this go AGAINST me ? Your vote of confidence will be much appreciated!!!

You're so welcome! I just attempted to check processing times, and the site is down. They're probably updating the processing times as we speak.

I know I could have count on you to actually respond. I do have accounts but no updates at all. I got no where today and it?s actually very depressing .

Glad to be of assistance. I do not think that submitting the I-693 is an issue. It's just tricky to do so without a RFE because there is no guarantee that it will be added to your file. Contractors in the mailroom have tunnel vision. So hopefully, you included a cover letter with it.

The other minor but potential issue is that sending the I-693 after getting the I-693 courtesy letter may cause your case to be processed/adjudicated. I've never seen it happen BUT that's what the I-693 letter says.

Getting depressed is not an option! Put things into perspective. Depending upon your field office, your interview could take a long time. My office is the Minneapolis Field office and it's taking a good 15 months for interviews to be scheduled. What's your field office?

Wow !! I filled out forms myself and somehow missed the medical form. They were 2/3 options. 1 to wait until the actual interview or mail it (given that I didn?t submit it will initial documents) I mailed it 2 months after submitting my documents. I live inBrooklyn, NY. I think I chose Manhattan as my field office
