  • Will I get a 2 year or 10 year green card?

Hi I got married to my us citizen wife on may 2013 . i got my I 130 approved in 2014. In 2017 they asked for joint sponsor documents. And we sent the papers in. We just got a notice for a second interview . My question is if everything goes good. Will I still get 2 year green card or I can get 10 years one. Since we been waiting for like 4 years with approved i-130. ??

it would appear that you will get your !0 year green card, hower, you could also apply for naturalization due to length of time you've been married to your spouse.
This is strictly an opinion and should not be misconstrued as legal advice. The use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

I do not think naturalization is an option, because for that one needs to have been a LPR for 3 yrs., besides being married to the same person for more than 2 yrs. during that time.

That is correct. OP will get the 10 year card, and will need to have been married for 3 years as a LPR (conditional or not) to a US citizen who has been a US citizen during those 3 years of marriage.

that's right, my apologies, I couldn't remember if they needed to be an LPR or not to apply for naturalization
