I am struggling to get an infopass appointment. I tried at midnight this morning but nothing. Immi officer told me to try 4/5am.

No, you do not need an appointment. It's very likely that they would just let you in, if you show up with your flight tickets and proof of your emergency. Did you try reaching out to your senator?

It says "you are encouraged to make an infopass appointment fist". It does not say anywhere that an appointment is required. Call USCIS, call your Senator or congressperson.

11/15/2018 response to uscis's request for evidence was received. Our Texas center office will begin working on your case again.
It was a birth certificate ! I was scared because I didn't have the original at the time i was born but i have a substitute that I applied in 2014 ! Translated and certified by rev.com and notified .

Hope that means that it is accepted ! Now i am gonna wait for the decision !

Second SR now I have to wait another 30 days ?

So many mixed feeelings ! When I spoke with immi officer week of November 5 he told me I should expect something on my EAD in 2 weeks and that I should call every week until I get something. I called last week Wednesday and ANOTHER immi officer told me that my case was on Hold and was released on October 17 th (I guess that?s after they received my response to RFIE (see my time line below) I called this morning and they said no updates. The immi officer who I spoke with last week told me to call back in 2 weeks if I don?t hear anything.

What?s next ? I asked to expedite this morning but I don?t meet any of the requirements to expedite !!! This sucks ! I need an ID . I have an infopass appointment next week Thursday but for an Emergency AP ! Any opinions?

I'm so sorry this is going this way, I seriously thought the second service request would be the trigger to have your EAD produced

Maybe include your congressman and ombudsman in this? I'm not sure if they would be able to help, from what I read on the forums, some people didn't have any luck but some cases moved forward after this.

Are you subscribed to both website and also the app? I got first update on app that Card is being produced. Few days later Case approved. And from Card produced it took them about week to mail it to me.

I guess probably few days, week at most and you will have it in your hands.

SS in mail today !

I received my SS card tonight . My husband called me while I was at work and told me that he saw something in the mailbox from Social Security Administrative. Came home and opened mail. Card says ?Valid for Work only with DHS authorization?
