So informed delivery just showed that I am receiving a letter from the Potomac Center in my name though. My husband is the one getting his green card. Could this be about the I-130 that I submitted? We were just updated to case ready to be scheduled for interview so I'm guessing it isn't an RFE or anything. It will just drive me bonkers until the mail arrives today haha

On this freezing Friday morning I felt adventurous and called USCIS at 7:59am.
They picked up right away and spoke to a nice lady (Level 1). Not very helpful information aside of the standard "the average time for processing I-765 is 4-6 months, so you're exactly in between".
I then asked to speak to a Level 2 and that, oh well, did not go very well: she changed her tone right away and sounded "angry" about my request.
However, she transferred me. The new lady gave me the same information, then I was asking another question and ... she hang up!!!! WOW!!
I'm not angry or anything, actually I just laughed and I still am while I'm writing this ... so I just wanted to share this with the groupAdjusting from H1-B (previous F1, CPT, OPT) married to USC, New Jersey

CT Hartford Filer
September Hartford CT Filer
Case has been ready to be scheduled for interview since 4 October. Still not received I765 but I think I'm probably not too far away by the looks of some dates on here. I did this through an Attorney paid retainer and then another payment when filed. Then the Attorney suddenly retired at the end of 2018. Case was passed to another lawyer in same town, but they have stated I would need to pay another retainer. I used the original Attorney for all my e2 paperwork. Now I'm going through I-130 process. I'm not sure I need attorney, but pretty annoyed that the original Attorney bailed on case. I'm wondering if anyone has been through similar and if there is any recourse for complaint.
Thanks

The processing time range is 12 months to 23 months, which means that about 50% of cases are processed after 12 months and about 93% of cases are processed after 23 months (counted from receipt date). The March 17th 2017 date is derived from the 23 months and it means you can inquire about your case if it was received on or before that date since it then goes out of the regular processing range.
It does mean that there is a decent chance that the process will take a year or longer from receipt date, but some cases will go faster and others will take longer. Why this is the case is anyones guess.Employment based AOS (EB1C) - San Bernardino office(CA)

Newark September 2018 filer I-485
Hi all:
I sent in my I-485 application in September 2018 and below is my timeline:
09/18/18 - I-485 filed
10/10/18 - Biometrics done
01/22/19 - Case is ready to be scheduled for interview.
My classification is F3 based on Child Status Protection Act. I am over 21 but my parents Adjusted Status two years ago.
Priority date is 10/19/1994.
QUESTION: For Newark FO, should I expect interview notice soon since case is ready to be scheduled for interview last week (01/22/19)?
Thank you in advance.
