Does anyone know if there's a way to find out if USCIS received it? My online status is unchanged since the PD. The fax machine printed a confirmation that all pages have been sent.
There is really no way to know if they received it. All you know is that the transmission was successful. I've recommended to other folks to mail the evidence, as well. You don't have to mortgage your home to do it. Just send it priority mail.

However, I should add that I have not read of anyone complaining that their evidence was not received. It's all up to you.

Are you going to contact your senator?s office? Also do they only ask for the job offer not your bank account?

Sorry I ask you a lot of questions usually, hope that?s cool

They only asked for the job offer. I sent them a cover letter too, kept it short and sweet, with short paragraphs summarizing why this job offer is great for me and my financial situation, blah blah. I faxed it from the fax machine once and once again from HelloFax just to be sure. Both faxes went through.

I also contacted the Congressman and Senator. I only sent proof of bills in my name to the Senator and Congressman, not to USCIS directly. I didn?t wanna send more documents than what they requested.

Informed Delivery tells me an envelope from USCIS is coming today. I really hope it?s the biometrics letter and not an RFE. Oh well, whatever it is, it?s good that something is moving.

              Thanks!

              I have a question !

How is this job offer you have ?

Is it a company letter with a promised position and salary?

A regular job offer. Went to interviews, they did a background check and offered me the position for the salary I requested. It is a letter signed by the regional manger on the company?s letterhead which describes the position, salary, start date, benefits, etc.

I am 99% sure it is the bio appointment. I first thought it could be an RFE but a quick search tells me the RFE is generally yellow and on the Informed Delivery scan the paper inside is white. I won't know for sure until around 4pm PT when USPS delivers the mail here but another user on the forum said they received the appointment today and is set for Nov 1. I am guessing ours is around that date too, but I will walk in first thing on Monday morning.

Bio appointment for me is on October 29. I will go on Monday morning, too. I read that you can do walkins without problems but depending on the center, they might make you wait for several hours. That is okay with me, better than having to wait another week. In case they get fussy about it, you can just say you have a trip/meeting/doctor's appointment scheduled for the actual appointment date.
