I have filed I-485 on Sep 2002. Wanna give up now. Anyone know how to abandon the whole green card process without having trouble applying for non-immigrant visa(like visitor's visa) in the future?

I just wanted to say dont give up. I am in a similar situation. I have a 485 receipt date of sept 27 2002. And there are others from as early as 2001. So have courage and patience seeing those who have suffered more than us. Since you had the same date I just felt i had to reply to you
