  • Need help with i-130 and i485...

    Hi everyone,

I have a few questions about i130 and i485. My USC spouse is a graduate school student and doesnt have an income currently. However, he did work as a part time student on campus during college and filed tax return every year. Should he be disclosing that under employment history for the past 5 years. I (F-1 student) too did work part time on campus as an undergrad research assistant, do I also include that as part of my employment history, or do I only include my work on OPT?

Anyone has any experience with this?

We are trying to submit everything by mid October...

    Thank you so much!

I filed for my husband while I was in grad school and I listed every job for which I had a paycheck, even if it wasn't much.

4/04: We reviewed your biometrics and are processing your case (I-765 & I-485)
4/18: Ready to be scheduled for an interview (No notification, not updated on either site until Aug 27)
    4/19: Request to expedite EAD
    5/11: Received EAD
    6/26: Applied for Advance Parole
    8/09: Advance Parole approved
    8/29: Scheduled for Interview
    10/11: Interview
    10/12: RFE on I-130 (misplaced G28)
    10/16: Sent new G28

OK thanks! To follow up on that, did you also explain that you were a full time student while being employed? We were wondering how important it is to explain full time schooling status to show why he wasn't employed full time that period.

      Thank you!

      Any input is appreciated!
