    Hi guy,

    Am August filer and it october but yet to receive the receipt from USCIS and my attorney says it normal but i am worried.

    Please what can I do?

    Swift response will be appreciated.

    You might want to get a new lawyer because I don't think that's normal. I have sent in documents twice and within 1-2 weeks I had already received the receipts of acceptance in the mail.

    I would call USCIS and see what the deal is.

    Did you send them priority or certified so you have a tracking number and proof that it was delivered?

      You can call USCIS and provide your information, they will look up your receipt numbers and give them to you. Did you write your checks payable to the Department of Homeland Security OR to your lawyer? Were the checks cashed?

        Did the lawyer file G-1145 so you can receive text/email updates? This is not really normal. My PD is Sept 24 and I received the texts and receipt numbers.
        RoC (I-751) Application, filed from Houston TX
        10/24/2021 - USPS delivered the package in AZ
        10/27/2021 - Text from USCIS with receipt number, check cashed. Assigned to the Texas Processing Center

        INITIAL AOS from F-1, married to USC, filed in Seattle WA

        09/24/2018 - Package delivered to PO Box (PD)
        10/22 - Early bio walk-in
        11/15 - New card is being produced (I-765)
        11/26 - EAD combo & SS card
        01/13/2020 - Interview
        01/23/2020 - Case Approved, Card Mailed.
