We have same situation. my interview was on August 13th Chicago Field Office. Everything went well besides given as RFE for Form Supplement J which I found out to be "not required" after the interview since I filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently. But instead of arguing with them, my attorney and I decided to submit the form the day after interview via FedEx overnight which we received a delivery confirmation. Until now, no updates even for receiving my response to the RFE. It's so stressful, officer was nice but one thing I noticed was her being disorganized with her stuff in her office that's why I'm thinking our case got stuck in pile of documents in her office. It's been almost 2 months and we are still waiting for the result, I would be ok even for an update that they got my response to the RFE. But NOTHING! I also contacted the congressman on August 31st and they got a response from USCIS on September 5th saying that our case is still in review. I made a Service Request on October 4th and no response yet.
We are so stressed and anxious on waiting for the result. Either Chicago Office is horrible in handling the case in general or just our IO not being organized with her stuff.Last edited by Rickyboy06; 10-11-2018, 02:14 PM.08/10/17: PERM Priority Date

But hopefully before it gets to 6month I?ll receive a decision cuz my PD is May 22,2018.

Maybe schedule an Infopass? My IO's office was full of documents as well, so I think that is just how they work...in sea of paperworks. After I first submitted my application, this is before the interview, I got a RFE as well, and after we sent it, we did receive an update that it was received. Did you check online status?

I would reach out to your SENATOR. I wrote that in upper case letters because lately, when I say SENATOR, people read CONGRESSPERSON. Senators have more clout.
You could also make an INFOPASS appointment and speak to a real immigration officer - not the customer service reps at the call center.

By the way, the IO has been with the USCIS for 26 years. That's what she said so she's not new and I was positive during the interview because she's so experience but I guess I was wrong. She's still disorganized despite of being there for 26 years.08/10/17: PERM Priority Date

[QUOTE=Rickyboy06;584200]Yes I am checking status online everyday but no update. Aug 14 status says "Interview completed and case must me reviewed". I also called customer service and Tier 2 officer didn't have an update on whether the response to RFE was received that's why she suggested to open a Service Request. She said I should get an answer by 10/19 for the open Service Request. I was hoping an update even just for the "Response for RFE received". By the way, which field office did you have your interview?

I am hoping to get an answer on 10/19 for the SR I opened with tier 2 officer. Even just an answer that they got my response for the RFE would give me some hope that it?s moving. Good luck to us I hope we both get an update soon.
