I am now waiting to talk to a USCIS rep about expediting my EAD and I will also ask about the bio appointment letter. The wait times are crazy - 20 to 25 minutes! Last week when I called it was 5 minutes. I guess a lot of people have issues, questions, etc.

EDIT: after waiting 25 minutes, a rep picked up just to tell me that she?s unable to do anything for me because their systems are down and to call back in 2-3 hours. Great!

Still Waiting for fingerprint / Biometric notice

                Priority date June 2008
                USCIS Received 08/27th
                Notice Sent 08/30th

Received 485J SEP 17th after that no movement
                Waiting for Fingerprint notice.

Is this possible with out Fingerprint we get AP and EAD ?? or Fingerprints need to be done first?

                Thank you,

I called back after 3 hours and the wait times were 40-45 minutes. Fu*k that! I hang up. Maybe I?ll take one for the team and try again tomorrow. I don?t know what?s happening lately, I feel like all other people who filed before August 2018 got their NOAs and bio appointment much faster, like 2-3 weeks after PD. Almost everyone who filed in August or September are still waiting on the bio.

We have very similar dates, my bio is done though.
I feel like even small things can cause delay, like type of payment, if everything is organized, cv and table of contents and etc.
Hopefully you will get it very soon.
Re your 4th msc number you can easily guess, either one in between, one before or after. Try all
Also did you include i693 will all papers?
USCIS is revising policy guidance for the validity period of Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record.

Everyone, I managed to get someone on the line at USCIS. He checked my files and say that the bio letter has not even been issued yet, so it's not coming in the mail anytime soon. I took advantage of finally getting someone on the line and placed a request to expedite my EAD based on financial hardship and job offer. Got the request number and said I'll hear back in 5 days. Hopefully this will get my bio letter moving.

I think you should all call and ask if your bio letter was even issued yet. If it has been, the rep should be able to tell you when and you can expect it in the mail in like 7 days. If it hasn't been issued yet, it's not coming for at least the next 7 days. Good luck!
