October 2018 Filers

Hi Mirilin, I'm in the same situation. My package was delivered to the USCIS Phoenix office on 10/19/2018 (I have the name of the USCIS employee who signed for it, so I know they have it).
I think it's just a matter of time. Be patient and wait. Maybe they had a high volume of applications, or they've been busy.
It panics me too when I see other people's checks were cashed in the first 3-4 days after the package was delivered and I'll soon break my phone of always checking my bank app or e-mail )) But our time will come. I'm sure of that!

Just curious: why was your packet sent to Phoenix? I am used to see people use the Chicago lockbox here, just curious what kind of AoS you are applying for

Hello all - wanted to start a thread for October filers. I am applying out of New York (so sent to the texas office, but I think that it will get handed down locally, as all cases seem to be now since they all require an interview)
My progress:
Package sent: Sept 28, 2018
Package delivered: Oct 1, 2018
Receipt notices received in mail: Oct 15, 2018

Dates on the receipt notices:
Received Date: October 1, 2018
Notice date: October 8, 2018

A couple notes:
- Note that the "received date" seems to be when they received the package (as opposed to when they mailed the package back to me).

So far, things are going according to schedule in the sense that I received my notice in about two weeks from delivery.
Will keep you guys posted!

Notice of Appointment for BIO: Oct 12, 2018
Biometrics: Oct 31, 2018

Hi - my card was charged yesterday. Did you include the form G-1145 to get e-notification? I did but I haven't received it yet. Maybe mail will end up coming first haha.

Hi guys, please experienced applicants what are some indicators at the begining of one's application that points to a very long case? why are some applicants cases processed within 3 months and others hitting the 2year mark even though they are applying from the same cities or states? USCIS claim they process cases in order they receive them but we have people whose cases are just so long for no reason, and new filers getting called for interview in record time? Please i need you guys to chime in on this, thanks.

It all depends upon your field office. Helena, MT receives 80 AOS applications per quarter, while Minneapolis, MN receives 1300. That's it right there.
