Definitely, I will post my experience after my interview. Just keep in mind that my application is employment based, so I suspect they will mostly zoom into my work qualifications and EB1 eligibility. But I do have my family applying with me so I am sure we will also have to convince the officer of bonafide marriage.

I tried expediting EAD through my senator since my current EAD (DACA) will be expiring in March and today they forwarded me USCIS response -___-. I provided health insurance statements, loan statements, monthly expenses and it got denied. I have seen A lot of people with he same situation and provided the same documents get theirs approved.

At this point it's all speculation. I'm guessing this because something like did not happen in the previous year (September 2017 bulletin). Plus, I haven't seen an active 'September filers' thread in this forum either. That's what made me think that maybe (just maybe) there might be less than normal number of applications. Again I don't have a way to sustain this hypothesis with factual data, and it's boring to wait in silence.

Filing dates moved two years ahead for F2B category in September so even if there was a retrogression in other categories, this affected the flow a bit.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there is a September thread and we're all anxiously waiting for August to finish receiving theirs. But I hope we get ours soon so you guys can get yours too!

Has there been any movement wih case status changes for October 2018 filers? I have read some from September ones...

Also, how come some are able to find out gerprint has been completed, where do you find that info on the portals? Mine only shows as case received and fingerprint fee received. It has not changed status ever since.

Most people get it after about 4-5 months after the filing date.

This forum has been a great resource during this process. I got notification online yesterday that my EAD and AP have been approved and the card was in production (both from NBC, case numbers start with MSC). It happened quickly for me, and I?m sure it?ll start moving for everyone else soon. The status for the I-485 is stil ?Finger Print Fee Received?.

My FO will be NYC, so know there?s a fair amount of time left. See my signature for the timeline.

This forum is so helpful and thank you all for posting the updates and valuable information.


our journey is 3months totally to get approved.

One suggestion file the documents correctly check multiple times before you submit and provide all the documents and keep it clear, organized and simple. Rest will fall in place according to time.

Be sure to take all the original documents and photocopies with you at the time of interview.
Be calm, polite and answer to the point; not beating around the bushes and no lengthy explanations and confuse them.
