  • What bugs me is the fact that they have moved back the date for case inquiry for I-765. Which means we will have to wait another 15 days to call USCIS

        • After months of no change from "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview", my wife and I received an email and text notifications that our "Interview was scheduled". We were shocked, surprised and are so happy right now. We're currently waiting for the letter to determine the interview date. So if you're an October filer, don't lose hope, be patient and you might be next!

Filed for wife - F-1 Student married to USC
          Location: Northern California
          Concurrent filing of I-485, I-130, and I-693
PD: October 10, 2018 to Chicago
          PD: I-765 October 28, 2018
          Bio: November 8, 2018 & November 20, 2018
I-485 Status Update: November 28, 2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview"
I-485 Status Update: March 18, 2018 - "Interview was scheduled"

Interestingly enough, there has been no changes to the status of her I-765 application. We're thinking it might has to do with the interview being so close.

Also, I don't like the new forum update...
          10/8/18 - Mailed I-130, I-130A, I-465, I-864 and I-693 via FedEx
10/10/18 - Received notification from FedEx package has been delivered.

            • So I received 2 separate but identical emails today saying USCIS is still reviewing my case and there's no update, which is pretty frustrating because my I-485 and I-765 have been stuck on fingerprint completed since December.
I am just super concerned about the mentioned emails. After reading about people's experiences with these random emails from USCIS, almost everyone who received them got 1 for each of their applications, so with that logic, I should have received 3 emails instead of 2 (my packet included I-765, I485 and I-130). So I'm worried that they somehow still haven't even looked at my I-485 (I did call USCIS to inquire about my I-765 and I-130 so I know for a fact they looked at them), I'm thinking about calling them again and ask about it but the thought of being put on hold for almost an hour again for possibly no helpful information kinda frustrates me

Congrats! I filed early October last year, but there is no update since "Case were received". I tried to figure out why some cases are processed so fast. May I ask are you two married over 2 years or just newly married?

We were married in 2018, so not even a year ago, but from what I have read through various forums, it depends on your local office, officer (agent), and the amount of documents (proof) you submitted with your application. Oh and there's also luck involved. I know it's difficult to be patience throughout the process but it's possibly the most helpful thing you can do at the moment.

03/20/2019 CASE HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR INTERVIEW... date to follow in mail. No idea on time frame though, 1 month from now? 3 months? 6 months? 12 months?

--> 765,130,131 have not updated and still say Case was Received 10/01/2018

*Anyone else have any experience with the 'Case is Ready to Schedule' coming 6 months after filing? Does this mean it will be scheduled shortly? Does this mean someone is reviewing my case now? Fresno's time is 7.5 - 21 months for 485. Is NBC still processing my 765?

                        • Hi everyone,

I submitted my I-485, I-765, I-131 and I-140 concurrently on October 6, 2018. My center is NBC (National Benefits Center). Here is my timeline so far:

                          Receipt Date for I-485, I-765, I-131: Oct 9, 2018
                          I-140 Approval Date: Oct 15, 2018
                          Biometrics Appointment: Nov 7, 2018

Case status still shows: "We accepted your fingerprint fee..."

I have two questions regarding my case:

                          (1) I have not received my EAD/AP combo card. Should I contact USCIS about this, and if so, how? My case is currently within the normal processing time, as NBC is processing cases up to September 16, 2018 filers as of today, which means I cannot raise SR or raise an inquiry yet. Please advise based on your experience.

                          (2) Since I have filed my I-485 or Adjustment of Status (AOS) in October 2018, I am expecting to wait about 12-18 months of processing time to get my Green Card. It appears that the closest local offices near me would be Los Angeles or Los Angeles County, and both offices are taking around 10 months to 24 months to process employment-based green cards. I was wondering if I should maintain a valid status while having my I-485 pending application being processed? I have maintained my F-1 visa status before, during and after submitting my I-485 application/AOS. At this point, after having my I-140 approved and am awaiting for my I-485 or adjustment of status to be processed, should I continue to maintain my F-1 visa status? I applied for the H1-B before applying for my green card, but I was not selected in the lottery.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

USCIS field offices do not allow walk-ins. You must have an appointment to visit an office.Field offices in the U.S. and its territories provide:Interviews for all non-asylum cas

You can look up your field office here via your Zip Code. LA is closest to me - the San Fernando Valley one (84 miles), but I live in Kern county which makes Fresno my local office (193 miles). ..... but thankfully, Fresno is processing at 7.5-21 months VS San Fernando at 16.5-34.5 months.

I have had no updates on my 765,130,131 for 171 days now! It only says Case Was Received!
                            But for my 485:
March 19: Case Is Ready to Schedule
March 20: Case Has Been Scheduled

Just waiting for the notice in the mail.

As for your second question, I have no input on that one, sorry.
