I moved to Europe during the adjustment of status procedure, a couple of weeks after my i485 interview. I do not intend to move back to the US. However, I am not sure how to abandon my i485 application. I know there's a form to fill out to abandon the green card, but I don't know if I can complete that form, because I haven't yet received the green card.
I'll be traveling to the US for a wedding next week. While I do have advance parole, I prefer not to use it to enter the US, as the customs officer will likely ask about where I live and work. I therefore applied for an ESTA and received it. I was wondering if it's OK to enter the US with the ESTA. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
