Interview done and approved after a month but may be request for biometric?

Hi! Is there anybody here had the same experienced. I had my interview last September 2018 and got a noticed today after a month that my application for permanent resident has been approved. But as per notice indicates that I may be request for biometric? Tha sounds weird because i had my bio already when i applied it. I dont know if this is a new policy.
As far as i know once you get your approval they wil send your Green Card.
This is marriage based and we had a kid already.

Congratulations! You were approved! The notice is interesting, though. I have read of people getting their biometrics taken right after the interview. Maybe they forgot to take yours after the interview?
Remember that those letters are templates and adjudicators do not always edit them. The biometrics component may not apply to you, but if it does, you will get a notice.

The approval letter is very generic, in our approval letter was something similar "may request biometric" something like that. Card received few days later, never request for anything else, still receiving emails "your case is pending...."

And by the way, i just saw my status online that my new card has been sent and it will arrive anytime soon. Youre right, those notice might just be a template or something.

My husband got his approval letter early this week with the same message and the card a few days later.
