i-485 RFE

I applied for my case in July & they received my case on July 20. i did my fingerprint on august 16 but they ALREADY SENT ME RFE on my i-485 about initial documents. we sent them RFE on October 8 but still it does not show the status that they received my RFE & status has not been updated. my RFE deadline is about to finish in 31 October. is this a normal because i heard sometimes they do not update their website?
in my case status it only says we received your case on july 20 & for EAD it says we completed your fingerprint on august 16.
