Hi All -
I wanted to share my timeline for getting a green card so people who are in the same process can get an estimate of how long it takes.
May 16 2018 - Mailed all documents to USCIS. I did concurrent filling. Since I had a valid H1B, I did not file for EAD or Advance Parole to travel.
Jun 23 2018 - Got notice for biometrics appointment which I finished in a few weeks
Aug 27 2018 - Got a notice for an interview with my wife, who is a US citizen
Sep 28 2018 - Had my interview, with basic questions from the application. It took no more than 15-20 minutes and the officer kept it nice and simple
Oct 16 2018 - GC approved and mailed via USPS.
The process felt quite straight forward and quick
