**The updated policy, which goes into effect on Nov. 1, 2018, will require applicants to submit a Form I-693 that is signed by a civil surgeon no more than 60 days before filing the underlying application for an immigration benefit. The Form I-693 would remain valid for a two-year period following the date the civil surgeon signed it. As such, USCIS is retaining the current maximum two-year validity period of Form I-693, but calculating it in a different manner to both enhance operational efficiencies and reduce the number of requests to applicants for an updated Form I-693.**

    And then things got complicated...

          Approved!!

Thank you to everyone for your answers.

My wife and I went to the interview yesterday. The lady who interviewed us was very friendly and only asked us a few questions about us and our relationship. Mostly it was questions from some sort of checklist she had. Mostly asking if I have or plan to commit specific crimes. Like obvious "no" type questions.

We handed her like 50 pictures from the past 12 years of our relationship and our wedding albums.

Then she said "I'm going to approve this, we'll send you a card in the mail."

It was so easy and stress free. I would imagine that was because they investigated and saw that we were on legitimate and didn't feel the need to pressure us.

Ironically they approved my Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization last Thursday. So basically I will get that card a couple days before I get my Green Card.
