Regarding I-693 update?

"The updated policy, which goes into effect on Nov. 1, 2018, will require applicants to submit a Form I-693 that is signed by a civil surgeon no more than 60 days before filing the underlying application for an immigration benefit. "

Does this mean that my wife's I-693 will only be valid for 60 days before we send it along with our I-485 package?
Does it mean she needs to get another medical if it went past 60 days?

I believe if you file before Nov1 2018 the medical could be older than 60 days, but it will be valid for only 1 yr since filed.

I don't think you have time to file before the Nov1st.

After it has to be with in 60 days.

I-693 medical memo 60 days period on nov, 1 2018 for existing 485 filed applicants?

My understanding on the new medical memo table on Oct-16-2018, the 60 days period is not applicable for applicant who filed their I485 without medical form and get the medical sign-off at any time during i485 review process. Based on either medical RFE or pink slip letter, submit the completed medical (i693) later time. The date of medical sign-off can be either within 60 days or more than 60 days for in-process I485 applicants (after I485 filing date). My case more than 60 days between medical sign-off date and interview date due to pink slip letter request. Do i need fresh medical sign-off (within 60 days) before interview?

With this information, it's safe to say that if you don't have your interview scheduled yet BUT got the medical form signed within 60 days from sending your I-485 application, YOUR I-693 IS GOOD FOR 2 YEARS FROM THAT DAY THAT IT WAS SIGNED.

In my case, for example, USCIS received my application back in July, i got my medical forms signed at the end of August (within 60 days from I-485 application), so my medical form is good UNTIL August 2019.

The existing 485 applicants comes under 2nd row of the memo table and it is valid for 2 years. I mean, we can complete medicals any time after 485 filed then submit to USCIS via RFE or interview and the data of the doctor sign can be more than 60 days.

There are two ways to complete/submit medical.
Option-1: Send medical to USCIS along with I485 documents and the medical should be done within 60 days from Nov-1. This is clear.
Option-2: Complete your medical and send to USCIS either RFE or handover at the time of interview after you filed 485 / during 485 review process. Here is there is no 60 days period before send to USCIS.
