EB1 to Green card - Finished Interview but having problems with retrogression HELP!

Hi Everyone

I have just had my green card interview after being accepted for an EB1 earlier this year
However they said in the interview they could not approve it because it's currently in retrogression.

1. What do i do?
2. How long do i have to wait until it becomes current again.
3. Will they ask for additional evidence?
