  • Your experience of how long to get approved after RFE?

    Hello everyone!

I just sent back my RFE which was a new Medical Exam, and I would like to know your experience of how long to get a decision or approved after sending back your i-485 RFE. I heard that some people got approved in 2-4 days after sending back the RFE and sometimes 2 weeks or more, is that true? even though the USCIS have 60 days or more.

Hahahha YOUR case is different. So many variables that impact and response back from USCIS on other cases. I am waiting 12 days after they recieved my response. I called USCIS and they told me that my ?target date? is October 27th. Whatever that means.
My point here is , you can?t compare your case with anyone else?s. All cases are unique .

Don't get your hopes up, it all depends on your specific case and your IO and how he is organized and what mood he is now...

Could be couple weeks, couple months, couple years... I hope you will have an answer soon. if not request case inquiry after 60 days.

I hope they will take short time to decide Blue Point.

I am in similar situation, they received my answer to RFIE on Oct 23rd which also marks an exact months I submitted SR for EAD being outside normal processing time (which still shows on website as not being assigned). I really hope they won't take 60 days just to process the RFIE and ignore my SR for EAD until that is done, I would really like to start to work this year... Will call them this week, but Tier 1 and 2 officers were pretty useless until now, just repeating info from web and learned phrases.

After sending my new medical exam, it took me around 2 weeks to get approval notice for I485 and a week later got GC. Good luck 👍🏻

No they wouldn?t response they got that. Only way you check your tracking number. I used express mail so I knew it was delivered. Just be patient. If your interview went well, everything will be fine.

                  Interview was good.
I sent the paperwork overnight and it was dropped off next day. I'll wait.
