Did your interview notice come from your field office or benefits center?

Just got my informed delivery email and have a piece of mail from USCIS coming today but it's from the Benefits Center.

Wondering if I should get excited or calm down.

Could be the interview notice or and RFE for the EAD/AP renewal.

I am almost positive the interview notice comes from the NBC. I confirmed that's the case for employment-based AOS. I have no evidence or data to support my statement. Take it with a grain of salt.

By the way, you will have better luck with securing an Infopass slot right at midnight in your time zone. That's when the appointments become available. Most folks tend to do this at 00:00 AM on Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday, people grow frustrated and give up. I'd say tonight may be a good time to grab one.

Of course... it's not the interview notification. Just a letter stating that they will be re-using the biometrics for the EAD renewal. So frustrated.

The interview notice (below) will also come from the NBC, but it will have a "c/o [applicant's father's name]" under your name. Hopefully, after the bio letter you got today, you will be getting the interview notice next...and soon.
