  • How long does I-130 take? I-130 Timeline?

    Hello everyone
From the day the I-130 was mailed(USPS) how long does it take for it to be approved?
We were told it was around 30 days.
    Is this true?
If not can you give us an estimate timeline?

    Thanks for any clarifications

Not even close. Who was it filed for? It can take months or years, not days.

Do you mean the I-131, application for Advance Parole (travel document)?? That takes a few months, 4-6

I hope your lawyer did not tell you that because if your lawyer did you should fire him or her.

My i-130 was not approved until the day of the interview of my husband. Exactly one year from the day we filed papers.
