CHICAGO NBC Field Office April, 2018 EAD Filers

Again, I have to create another thread on this. I really hope I get the answers that I seek.

I am in day 192 for EAD that I filed in 18th April, 2018. I have filed an outside normal processing time service request, contacted the ombudsman, and even the senator and still nothing. I have to wait till November 15th to receive any update as regard SR. I have never gotten RFE'd so I do not understand why all these delays.
So a little about my case, I filed for a new EAD after filling for adjustment of status (marriage based) all a Chicago NBC. I have to state that I already have an approved I-130 which I attached to everything that I filed. I worked for a year with OPT EAD. My I-465 is showing interview READY to be scheduled.
I have done everything to keep my sanity but the truth is that I am going insane and near depression. Calling USCIS is not helping at all.
Can anyone advise me on what next to do?

I hope by reading through these threads give you some peace knowing that you?re not alone.
I called USCIS about 6 days ago to follow up on my SR. The guy was sweet. He said that USCIS is behind in about 10,000 - 20,000 application (I hope I got the number correct). He also informed me that there is nothing to worry about and also provided me with a ?target date? of which the computer is saying my SR will be investigated by. Don?t drive yourself nuts and I don?t know if you?re like me who has waited many years to file AOS , but I tell myself this.... what was a I doing 4 years agoi ? Ha ! Working and minding my business.

Hello! Any updates for you? I have an April 11 filing date and still waiting.. my fingerprint review has been completed since April and that was the last update. I tried to expedite and it got denied because the case is already with an officer.
