i need a help about my case..

i came here to usa with b1/2 visa and got married to my wife us citizen
filed Concurrent I-130 and I-485 ONLY ( i did not apply for i765 and i131) would that be ok if i didnt file I-765 and I-131 or i still need to file I-765 and I-131?

You need to file I-765 if you're looking for work authorization prior to receiving your green card. Given that you're on an B1/B2 visa, you're not allowed to work. I-131 is for advanced parole (AP) that allows you to re-enter the country without a visa. If your B1/B2 visa is going to be valid until you receive your green card, you don't necessarily need AP. I understand that you stay in the US for 6 months at a time when you enter using your B1/B2 visa. I don't know how that period changes once you've applied for AOS. You should consult with an immigration lawyer.

i submit my AOS prior my i-94 expired.. not applying for i-765 and i-131 is ok right? i dont need the AP and authorization to work because i cant work for now either

From what I understand, I-765 is for work authorization and I-131 is for advance parole, allowing you to enter the country without a visa. Sorry, but I can't comment on whether it's necessary to apply for both - I think it depends on your personal situation. As mentioned before, you should check with an immigration lawyer (if you haven't already) to see what makes sense for your situation.

incorrect address

After my post last night, I received a text notification this morning that an update was posted on my case. When I checked, it said that they sent a notice for my i485 but could not be delivered and it may affect my application. I reviewed my copy of the form and found out that my apartment number was not written. I immediately corrected my address online and requested a copy of the notice. I'm anxious. Should I worry? What do you think the notice is for?

Just wanted to join with all the Nov filers ~ I send my package to the Chicago USCIS and I'm from Los Angeles, CA then all my cases processing at NBC

Received package: Nov 1st, 2018
Notice of Notification I-797C (All for of I485, I765, I130, I131): Nov 6th, 2018
Biometric Appointment: Nov 28th, 2018
Fingerprint review completed: Dec 6th, 2018
Case is ready for scheduled an interview: Jan 24th, 2019

Has anyone out there received their EAD/AP card or Combo card? Or anything? I'm still waiting on my since Dec 6th and haven't heard/seen any updated yet.

First post, seeking some help... I just learned that there is a my.uscis.gov that appears be much more up to date.

Our current status:

Received AOS package 11/5/2018
[I-765 rejected for filing error]
[I-485 with NOA had birth date typographical error by USCIS, letter sent]
Biometrics [I-485] notice date 11/9/2018; scheduled for 11/29/2018
Received I-765 resubmission 11/23/2018
Biometrics [I-485] walk-in 11/21/2018
Biometrics [I-765] notice date 11/30/2018; scheduled for 12/20/2018
Biometrics [I-765] walk-in 12/14/2018
USCIS typographical error corrected [I-485] 1/12/2019

Now on egov.uscis.gov, there was no communication after the biometrics was done.
I just learned of my.uscis.gov and I found entries that note:

Fingerprint review complete 11/27/2018
Fingerprint review complete 12/3/2019

Both under I-485 (not sure why? both are also before the biometrics for I-765 were completed). There are no entries for I-765 other than the receipt of our resubmitted application.

We are not too concerned with the processing time for the I-485, but certainly concerned about the processing time for the combo card for travel purposes.

Should we take alarm based on not having a fingerprint review complete notification under I-765?

A separate but related note: we did not submit another biometrics fee with the resubmitted I-765, noting that it was in relation to a I-485.

Hey! I'm from LA as well but my PD is August 30. No updates since then. Looks like LA takes forever..... (meaning NBC for LA)
