I received that email last week (early morning), then in the afternoon another email saying:
"Dear USCIS account holder,

Due to a recent email outage, we were unable to send notices about case updates. We have fixed the problem, but to ensure you have the latest information on your case status, please log into your USCIS online account"

Logged in, an nothing new. Same information for a month now.

You should expect the interview letter in 7-10 days after the update. Interview is usually 5 weeks after the update message, so likely mid March.

Interview Experience

Just finished my interview. We had a very nice IO. The interview was easy and we were hardly asked any questions. We mainly spent time doing the Yes/No questions and verifying all the information on I-130 and I-485. We did front load our application with a ton of evidence and we got the feeling that the IO had reviewed everything before hand.

At the end we were told that security checks need to be run and the IO offered to explain about the greencard being valid for 2 years. We were never given any letter nor were told the case was approved or being help for review. About 10 minutes after the interview I got an update on my I-485 status that "A new card is being produced" which I guess means my case was approved?

Have to wait and see whether we will get anything in the mail.
