November 2018 Filers

Just finished my interview. We had a very nice IO. The interview was easy and we were hardly asked any questions. We mainly spent time doing the Yes/No questions and verifying all the information on I-130 and I-485. We did front load our application with a ton of evidence and we got the feeling that the IO had reviewed everything before hand.

At the end we were told that security checks need to be run and the IO offered to explain about the greencard being valid for 2 years. We were never given any letter nor were told the case was approved or being help for review. About 10 minutes after the interview I got an update on my I-485 status that "A new card is being produced" which I guess means my case was approved?

Have to wait and see whether we will get anything in the mail.

I don't think the card could be the EAD combo card because is taking longer than 3 months to get that, so I bet it is the GC. I think it will ship this week and you will get it next week.

Just wanted to update with all the Nov filers ~ I send my package to the Chicago USCIS and I'm from Los Angeles, CA then all my cases processing at NBC

Received package: Nov 1st, 2018
Notice of Notification I-797C (All for of I485, I765, I130, I131): Nov 6th, 2018
Biometric Appointment: Nov 28th, 2018
Fingerprint review completed: Dec 6th, 2018
Case is ready for scheduled an interview: Jan 24th, 2019
New Card Is Being Produced : Mar 3rd, 2019

Has anyone out there received their EAD/AP card or Combo card? Or anything? I was wondering if this card coming will be my combo card or just EAD?

From previous threads, almost everyone received combo card if they filed the forms together.

The EAD is combo. My advance parole status didn?t change when my I-765 did so I was surprised to see it was The EAD combo.

so we haven?t received any updates after ?fingerprint fee was received.? My husband also has a work permit under DACA that?s set to expire October of this year. We had submitted a 765 in addition to his DACA renewal prior to submitting our 485.. since he already has a work permit, will this affect our timeline??

hi guys ! finished my interview yesterday

heres my experience

she just ask me and my wife some form related question
-history of me and my wife on how we got married
-my J1 Visa history
- my b1/b2 visa history
-and ask for some proof of bonafide marriage( i only submitted our 2018 tax refund 1040 and like 15-20 photos with name of the event that show our marraige life progress

after that she let me sigh the 2yr conditional paper and told me that she will review my past b2 visa application that got denied twice and she told me that if there were no discrepancies. i should get the green card in two weeks or if she find some discrpancies she will mail me some RFE.
