  • Houston Interview Done and Dusted

We had our interview this afternoon. Appointment time 12:05pm. We arrived at 11:30 am. We were checked in by 11:57 am. We sat down to wait to be called to have my husband's biometrics verified. We were sitting down maybe 15 minutes. Then we hear someone call his name wrong and my name, we went up to the officer to make sure it was us, it was. This was probably about 12:15. We went to the back and had our interview with Officer Rocha. I had an extremely detailed portfolio of all our evidence, she didnt ask for a single piece of evidence! The only she did ask for was our interview notice, his new medical, our Tx Id's and his passport. No new salary or any tax info! NOTHING. She asked how we met and the story of that. Our wedding anniversary was yesterday and we really just talked about our lives... and the anniversay celebrations. Then toward the end, she said ok your card will be mailed to you. Then said OOOOOH YOU BROUGHT pictures??? SHOW ME SHOW ME SHOW ME!!!! Then we talked about hair extentions and music! LOL We were out of the office and back in the car by 12:50 pm. It was not nearly as nerve racking as we had prepared for, but "proper preparation prevents piss poor performance" Approved on the spot for a 10 year green card.... So we are in the clear for the next 3 years until we apply for citizenship!!!!!

    Thanks for all the help!

Congratulations. My wife and I had a very similar experience yesterday and I was approved for my Green Card on the spot too. It was so stress free.
