    Interview Scheduled

    Finally the day has come. Got a notification last night that our interview has been scheduled. 428 days from PD.

    It was a test of our patience, but worth it. Should receive something in the mail soon for the official date!

    Thanks for the support. I've been preparing documents over the last few months so not too much else to do but to organize it all and mentally prepare.

    So excited!!!

    Congrats! We got the same notice 2 weeks ago and the interview was scheduled for exactly 5 weeks later
    11/20/17 - PD - Marriage Based AOS
    12/10/17 - Walk in Biometrics
    4/10/18 - EAD & AP Approved
    4/18/18 - Interview ready to be scheduled
    4/19/18 - Combo Card in hand
    10/22/18 - Interview has been scheduled
    11/26/18 - Interview Completed
    12/6/18 - GC in hand

        Congratulations on your interview! It just seems so coincidental that shortly after you applied for renewal, then BAZAAM - USCIS scheduled your interview. It's happened to several folks on this forum.

          It does seem quite coincidental doesn't it?! Wish I would have applied for it sooner, but oh well. It could be what got them going, or it could be completely coincidental based on their current backlog. Regardless, I'm just super happy it's coming. And nervous. :P

            You have nothing to be nervous about. Your marriage is real and you have prepared extensively. All you have to do is anchor your confidence on those two and let your personality shine on that day. You will be just fine.

                      Unfortunately we didn't get to. He's from Venezuela and we went through hell trying to get his passport renewed. Even flew to DC in September of last year to apply for the renewal at the Embassy there. We waited for one year and nothing. So we decided to apply for the 2 year extension they were granting due to the fact that the country is in such a mess that they didn't even have paper and ink to print new passports with. Went to Chicago about 3 weeks ago to get the 2 year extension stamp from the Embassy. But, soon he will have his GC and we plan to travel outside the US very soon! I've been itching to get out of here for a while now. Everything has been a process but soon it will get easier.

                          Interview scheduled in DC field office

                          Hello,

                          Our interview was also scheduled, it will be December 13. I am going to do the medical exam today, and then start prepping all documents for the interview. I am nervous, and excited! Hopefully, everything will go smoothly.
