  • Green card

Hi, me and my wife applied for green card over the job 14 months ago, they received everything on September 21st 2017, since that they requested some updates on June 10th and they have received it a few days after.
8 weeks ago we went online on Uscis.gov and requested service form, 3 weeks after that we got an email where they said that they are still processing our case and that we will get respond or instructions for next step in 60 days.
So, the question is are we really going to get something from them in expected time or that just answer to get rid of us?
If someone has experience with this please let us know.

    Thanks

I am sorry that you haven?t heard back.
Couple questions to be clear: Did your wife petition for you , you for her or what?s your application based on ?
Since September 2017 did you get your EAD ? Interview ? what kinda of updates did you get June 10 , 2018 ? It is really hard to determine the status on your case , based on someone else?s experience, if you are so vauge.

Hi, I got sponsored for green card through work, and I was married before that, so we applied for green card together. I received my EAD last December, just applied for extension because I still don?t have an answer for the green card, and lawyer said that I should have had it by now.
They requested additional signatures from my boss on June 10th, and haven?t been called for an interview.
The question is, is their service form request on Uscis website legit? Because they emailed me back saying that I should get an answer within 60 days, and I called to confirm that, and the person on the phone told me that was an error, that green card process takes from 12,5-23,5 months and it?s my 14 month. Now I?m confused about the email, and don?t know whether I can expect an answer for the green card in the timeline they gave me..
